Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) provides training and quality human resources to the industries in footwear, fashion, retail, leather accessories and lifestyle products. Applications are invited for the following admissions for the year 2023-24 in UG and PG courses in 12 centers across the country including Hyderabad.

Courses offered by the Institute:

1. Bachelor of Design

Disciplines: Footwear Design and Production, Leather, Lifestyle and Product Design, Fashion Design.

Qualification: 10+2/ Diploma.

Course Duration: These courses are offered for a duration of four years.

2. BBA: Retail and Fashion Merchandise

Course Duration: Three years.

Qualification: 10+2/ Diploma.

* Candidates applying for Bachelor Degree should not exceed 25 years.

3. PG Master of Design: Footwear Design and Production.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Footwear / Leather Goods and Accessories Design / Design / Engineering / Production / Technologies.

Course Duration: It is offered for a duration of two years.

4. MBA (Retail and Fashion Merchandise)

Qualification: Any degree.

Course Duration: The duration of this course is two years.

Selection Process: All India Selection Test (AIST) 2023 exam will have final selection based on merit.

Test Procedure:

* UG courses will have a question paper of 200 marks. There will be total 150 questions from 4 sections. 25 questions will be asked in the first section Quantitative Aptitude. In the secondsection there will be 10 questions from Comprehension, 30 questions from Grammar Usage etc. 35 questions will come in the third section General Awareness section. The fourth sectionconsists of 25 questions from Business Aptitude and 25 from Design Aptitude. One mark for each question in the first three sections. Two marks for each question in the final section.

* There will be 175 questions from 4 sections in the exam conducted for admission to PG courses. 200 marks are allocated for these. Quantitative Aptitude 25 questions for 50 marks,English Comprehension and Analytical Ability 50 questions for 50 marks, General Knowledge and Current Affairs 50 questions for 50 marks, Management Aptitude Test, Analytical Ability 50 questions for 50 marks.
