SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri - Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology

Sri Pragada Kotaiah Memorial Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Venkatagiri, Tirupati District invites applications for admission to Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology course common to all IIHT campuses. 

IIHT campus: SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri(Andhra Pradesh); IIHT, Salem(Tamilnadu); KHTI, Gadag (Karnataka); IIHT, Bargarh (Odisha).

Course Details:

1. 3 years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology (DHTT)

Qualification: SSC.

Age Limit: Between 15 and 23 years.

Selection: Based on academic merit.

Seats:

SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri: 47+6(EWS) = 53 - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States

IIHT, Salem: 11 - Tamilnadu

KHTI, Gadag: 4 - Karnataka

IIHT, Bargarh: 8+1(EWS) = 9 - Odisha (Only Telangana Students)

Total no. of seats: 78.

Stipend: Stipend will paid Rs.1000, Rs.1100, Rs.1200 respectively during the three years.

2. Lateral Entry admission for Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology

Qualification: 10+2 (MPC/ Vocational stream of any textle discipline). Or SSC, ITI.

Starting date for application: 01-05-2024.

Last date for application: 01-06-2024.
