IMU, Visakhapatnam - Lateral Entry B.Tech Programme 

Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam invites applications for Lateral Entry B.Tech Programme for session 2024-25.

Progamme Details:

1. Admission to 2nd year for the B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering- NAOE): 07 Seats

2. Admission to 2nd year for the B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ship Building- NASB): 06 Seats

Duration: Three academic years consisting of six semesters.

Maximum Age Limit (i.e. 01-08-2024): For Male 25 years, For Female 27 years.

Qualifications: At least 60% marks in Diploma (Ship Building Engineering/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering/ Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering), Or B.Sc. (Ship Building & Repair).

Selection Process: Based on Entrance Test, Medical fitness, Certificate verification etc.

Application Fee: Rs.1000 for all other candidates and Rs.700/- for SC/ST candidates.

Last date for receipt of applications: 05-07-2024.

Date for conduct of the Lateral Entry Entrance Test: 13-07-2024.
