Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, a General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories and Havaldar, a General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and Central Bureau of Narcotics under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

Post details:

1. Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff: 4,887 Posts

2. Havaldar in CBIC and CBN: 3,439 Posts

Total no. of posts: 8,326.

Qualifications: Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2024): 18-25 years for MTS and Havaldar in CBN. 18-27 years for Havaldar in CBIC and few posts of MTS.

Mode of selection: 

For MTS Posts- Session-I and Session-II in Computer Based Examination, document verification.

For Havaldar- Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test, document verification.

Computer Based Examination: 

Session-I: Numerical and Mathematical Ability (20 Questions/ 60 Marks), Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving (20 Questions/ 60 Marks).

Session-II: General Awareness (25 Questions/ 75 Marks), English Language and Comprehension (25 Questions/ 75 Marks).

Time Duration: Each session 45 Minutes.

Application Fee: Rs.100. SC, ST, PwBD, ESM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Centres of Examination in AP & TS States: Chirala, Guntur, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vizianagaram, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Warangal.
