English is a simple and easy language in the world. It has no cases, no gender, no word agreement, and has a simple grammar system. By immersing yourself in it, observing pronounce words, learning spelling patterns, doing exercises every day can make you confident about your final exam score.
How to prepare
In Prose, two lessons were removed i.e., Polluting the world, The sandbox. The remaining 3 lessons are enough to cover the portion they are
1) Dancing in the Rain
2) Opportunities for youth
3) To Sir, with love
From these 3 lessons, annotations and paragraphs related questions can be expected in the final examination.
* In bit number - I annotations and in bit number- II paragraphs, short questions will be covered.
* Four questions will be asked in the exam where you need to attend 2 questions, so you should cover any 2 lessons from the above three lessons.
The poem “I celebrate myself” was removed. The remaining poems which are to be covered compulsorily for final examination are.
1) The Magical earth
2) Polonius Advice to his son
3) Footprints in the sand
4) What kind of place
In the short story, the removed story was “Don’t Die, Hilton! Don’t Die”. The remaining stories which are to be covered for the final examination were
1) The boy who broke the bank
2) Parige
3) My elder brother
4) The awakening
* In the 6th and 7th-bit comprehension and passages will appear in the final examination. The removed portion was page number 283, S.No. 10, 11, 12, 13 and the remaining need to be included and focused on. In the 8th bit, there is no change i.e. study the advertisement.
* In 9th bit page No. 50 - 57 was removed from the syllabus.
* In 10th-bit punctuation marks each and every topic need to be covered for examination.
* In the 11th bit, match the following the prose, poems, short stories that were removed can be eliminated and the rest of all the lessons are needed to cover for the final examination.
* In the 12th bit, Idioms/phrases all are included in the examination. And in the 13th bit, verb patterns all are needed and included for examination.
* In 14th bit, 15th bit, and 16th bit which are fill in the blank, curriculum vitae, paragraph describing respectively all the topics are included in the syllabus.
* In the 17th bit, the letter-writing only the informal letters were removed, and the formal letters are needed to be covered.
* In the 18th bit, 19th bit, 20th-bit notes making, stress mark, dialogue writing respectively all the topics are needed.
Guidelines
* Reach the examination centre before half an hour.
* After getting into examination hall sit calm and set mind peacefully.
* While taking the OMR sheet be very careful and check the name and initial properly.
* After getting the question paper read all the questions carefully and then start writing.
* In the question paper, the Ist bit consists of 3 annotations in that write compulsory 2 annotations. Select the annotations which are known well and perfect, and then they need to write the author name and lesson name.
* In 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th bits students need to write author name, poet, and lesson name and need to underline.
* Complete 1-5 bits within 120 minutes.
* Section-B and Section-C need to write in serial order only.
* While writing answers students need to fill the paper for at least about 1 1/2 page for annotations, short answers.
* Don't take more time for a single question. The answer should not be so lengthy. Manage your time according to section wise.
* While writing answers include the bit numbers.
