MATCH THE COLOUMNS

Match the columns topic is one of the important topics for all major Banking examinations. This topic is designed to evaluate candidates’ ability to analyze and correlate information effectively.This section assesses logical thinking,problem solving skills, and comprehension abilities of the candidates. The Match the Columns format presents a set of statements or items in two columns, usually labelled Column I and Column II. Candidates are required to match the items in Column with their corresponding counter parts in Column II. The items in the two columns may be related to each other in various ways such as synonyms, antonyms,cause-effect, chronology, or any other logical sequence.

Directions (Qs. 1 - 6): In the following questions,two columns are given with three sentences/phrases in each of them. In the first column,the sentences/ phrases are labelled as a, b,and c and in the second column, the sentences/phrases are labelled as d, e, and f, respectively.A sentence/ phrase from the first column may or may not connect with another sentence/ phrase from the second column to make the sentence grammatically and contextually correct.
