Development is a way for people to use resources without the resources running out. Everyone wants a better place to live. Some people want better homes and housing, while other people want better schools, more jobs, better shops, or cleaner and safar streets. Others may want all these things.

Development is the sustained, concerted action of policy makers and communities that promote the standard of living and economic health of a specific area. Economic development can also referred to as the quantative and qualitative changes in the economy. Such acts can involve multiple areas including development of human capital, critical infrastructure, regional competitiveness, social inclusiveness health, safety, literaray and other initiveness.

The Human development Index is a comosite statistic of life expectancy, education and per capita income indicators which is used to rank countries.
