Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram invites applications for admission to Ph.D. programmes of the Institute for the academic year July 2024.

Course details:

* IIST Ph.D. Programme - July 2024 Admissions

Department: Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physics.

Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology with 60% marks. Or 75% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with valid GATE score. Or Masters in Science with valid UGC- CSIR NET-JRF/ Lectureship or NBHM/ JEST/ GATE in the relevant disciplines.

Age Limit: Below 35 years as on 07-05-2024.

Application fee: Rs.700 for General, OBC and EWS candidates; Rs.350 for SC, ST, PD and women candidates.

Important Dates… 

Last date for online submission of applications: 07-05-2024.

Display of shortlisted candidates for Test: 16-05-2024.

Date of online screening test: 29-05-2024.

Publishing of screening test results: 05-06-2024.

Interview Dates: 19 to 21-06-2024.

Display of provisionally selected candidates: 01-07-2024.
