5. LEARNING FROM THE WEST

The Lesson "Learning from the West" is a speech given by N.R. Narayana Murthy, Infosys Chairman.
He extols Indian Culture and Tradition. But he says the people in the West are better in Social Orientation. They generally sacrifice more for society compared to Indians.
Corruption is not allowed in the West. But in India, it is a common matter.
Problem Solving is done very fastly in the West. But in India, it takes decades.
Accountability and Payment of Taxes is very important in the West. But we are least in paying taxes. Dignity of Labour is practiced in the West, unlike in India.
