Failing to plan is planning to fail’.. planning is very important for any exam and at the same time execution of the plan is not to be neglected. English is easy if you study it with interest and practice is very important in grammar part, through which you can get good marks.
‘Syllabus and its preparation
‣ The exams are fast approaching, but you need not to worry. If you are worried you can’t understand how and what to study. Board of Intermediate has reduced 30% of the syllabus in this academic year.
‣ In first-year English, we have 5 prose lessons and 5 poetry lessons. This year one lesson each was removed from prose and poetry. So, we have to cover 4 lessons from prose and 4 poems from poetry.
‣ The given table can help you to cover the lessons that you have to study this year.
‣ One Annotation and one Paragraph question are definitely given from each lesson. So, every lesson in prose and poetry is important.
Extensive Reading Section
‣ In the Extensive Reading section, 2 lessons are deleted this year. So we have to cover 3 lessons from this section.
‣ One essay question is to be answered from this section. All three questions will be there in the question paper. If you cover all the three lessons, that is welcomed. If it is difficult for you, you can cover one or two lessons from the above list.
