Work Options

International students who are studying in Germany can work part-time up to 20 hours per week during course time and full time during vacation (about 90 days in a year). After completion of the course, students are given an 18 months graduate job search visa which can be converted into a work permit when the student finds a job.

A Schengen permit allows students to travel and work freely among the other EU nations. Due to close contact with industries and practical course students find it relatively easy to get absorbed in jobs relating to their field of study.
