1.   RBI To Soon Allow To Deposit Cash Through Cash Deposit Machines Using UPI

Reserve Bank of India will soon allow to deposit cash through Cash Deposit Machines using UPI. Till now UPI is mainly used for money withdrawal or Money transfer. Governor Shaktikanta said, this measure will further enhance customer convenience and make the currency handling process at banks more efficient.

2.  India Allows Exports Of Essential Goods To Maldives 

India has allowed limited exports of essential commodities, including sugar, wheat, rice, and onions, to the Maldives, the government said, even as ties between Male and New Delhi remained tense amid rising Chinese influence.

3.  First-ever Telugu TV news reader Shanti Swarup passes away

First-ever Telugu television news reader Shanti Swaroop, who was a household name in undivided Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s, died, due to heart attack. He was 74. Swaroop presented the news when the first Telugu news bulletin was broadcast on Doordarshan on November 14, 1983, they said.
