1. CII southern region gets new office bearers

CII southern region’s deputy chairperson and managing director of Chandra Textiles, R Nandini has taken over as its chairperson for the year 2024-25. The past chairperson of CII Tamil Nadu state council in 2010-11, she was the past chairperson of the education sub-committee during 2022-23.

2. Dhoni Hands over CSK Captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad

M.S. Dhoni has handed over the Chennai Super Kings captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad. This is the second time when Dhoni has quit as captain, he had handed it over to Ravindra Jadeja in 2022.
