Government of India, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment invites online applicatons for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2022-23 for SC Students. The Scheme provides financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste students studying at Post Matriculation or Post-Secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. 

Eligibility:

1. The scholarships are open to Indian Nationals only.

2. Students must belong to Scheduled Caste and study at the Post-Matric level.

Annual Parental/ Guardian’s Income: 

Schlorships will be granted to the students whose parental/ guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.5 lakhs per annum.

Components of Schlorship:

Group 1: Degree and Post Graduate Level Professional Courses

Day Scholar- Rs.7000 per annum

Hosteller- Rs.13500 per annum

Group 2: Other Professional Courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate

Day Scholar- Rs.6500 per annum

Hosteller- Rs.9500 per annum

Group 3: Graduate and Post Graduate courses not covered under Group 1 and Group 2

Day Scholar- Rs.3000 per annum

Hosteller- Rs. 4000 per annum

Group 4: All Post-Matriculation (Post Class X level) non-degree courses

Day Scholar- Rs.2500 per annum

Hosteller-  Rs.6000 per annum

Note: 10% extra allowance for Divyang Students
