1.   RBI Approves Transfer of Rs 2.11 Lakh Cr as Surplus to Govt
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the transfer of Rs 2,10,874 crore as surplus to the Central Government for the accounting year 2023-24. The same was approved during the 608th meeting of the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India, which was held in Mumbai.

4.  Sachin Sarjerao Khilari Clinches Gold Medal in Shot Put at World Para Athletics C’ship
In Para Athletics, India’s Sachin Sarjerao Khilari clinched the gold medal in the men’s shot put at the World Para Athletics Championship in Kobe, Japan. He also set a new Asian record with a throw of 16.30 metres in the F46 category, to defended his title at the world championships.
