Vishnu: Hi Bhagavat, long time, no see. Where have you been all these days? (హాయ్‌ భగవత్‌, నిన్ను చూసి చాలా రోజులైంది. ఇన్ని రోజులూ ఎక్కడున్నావ్‌?)
Bhagavat: I have not been in town all these days. My uncle took me to Chennai where he lives (ఇన్నిరోజులూ ఊళ్లో లేను. మా మామయ్య నన్ను చెన్నై తీసుకెళ్లాడు. ఆయన అక్కడే ఉంటాడు).
Vishnu: You didn't tell me before leaving, why? (నువ్వు వెళ్లేముందు నాతో ఎందుకు చెప్పలేదు?)
Bhagavat: I had to leave abruptly, so I could not tell you. Anyway, how are things here? Has Ramana stopped looking down upon others? He always feels that he is a step above the others. How is he now? (నేను అనుకోకుండా వెళ్లాల్సి వచ్చింది. అది సరే కానీ, ఇక్కడి సంగతులేంటి? రమణ ఇతరులను తక్కువగా చూడటం ఆపేశాడా? అతనెప్పుడూ.. తనే ఇతరులకంటే ఎక్కువ అనుకుంటాడు. ఎలా ఉన్నాడు ఇప్పుడు?)
Vishnu: He is no longer as uppish as he has been. He has learnt that all are equal and that he is in no way superior to others (అతనిప్పుడు తనను తాను గొప్పవాడిగా అనుకోవడం లేదు. తాను ఇతరులకంటే గొప్పవాడిని కాననీ, అందరూ తనతో సమానమేననీ అతను నేర్చుకున్నాడు).
Bhagavat: How did he learn that lesson? (ఆ పాఠాన్ని అతనెలా నేర్చుకున్నాడు?)
Vishnu: His cousin taught him that in this world all are equal and no one is above the others. Ramana warms up to his cousin, you know? He likes him very much (అతని కజిన్‌ ఈ లోకంలో అందరూ సమానమేననీ, ఎవరూ ఎవరికంటే ఎక్కువ కాదని అతనికి నేర్పాడు. రమణ తన కజిన్‌ను బాగా ఇష్టపడతాడు).
Bhagavat: So he has learnt that none is a step ahead of the others (ఇప్పటికైనా నేర్చుకున్నాడన్నమాట తాను ఇతరుల కంటే గొప్పవాడు కాదని).
Vishnu: I forgot to tell you. The other day as he was going on his bike, a car hit him, and he fell down unconscious. Fortunately for him, I was going the same way, and sprinkled cold water on his face and he came to. A number of others joined me and then he realized that he is not superior to others (చెప్పడం మర్చిపోయా. అతను ఒకరోజు మోటర్‌ సైకిల్‌ మీద వెళ్తుంటే ఒక కారు అతన్ని ఢీకొంది. స్పృహ కోల్పోయాడు. అతని అదృష్టం, నేను కూడా అదే దారిలో వెళ్తున్నా. అతను పడిపోవడం చూసి చల్లటి నీళ్లు అతని ముఖంపై చల్లా. అప్పుడతను స్పృహలోకి వచ్చాడు. నాతోపాటు వేరేవాళ్లు కూడా సాయం చేశారు. అప్పుడు అతనికి అర్థమైంది, తాను ఇతరుల కంటే గొప్పవాడు కాడని).

1. Ramana warms up to his cousin
Warms up - the phrase is warm up = Start liking someone (ఒకరిని ఇష్టపడటం).
Rangarao: Our teacher likes Ramesh immensely, because he is very clever and always stands first in the class (మన టీచర్‌ రమేష్‌ను ఎంతో ఇష్టపడతాడు. ఎందుకంటే అతను చాలా తెలివైనవాడు, మార్కులపరంగా తరగతిలో ఎప్పుడూ ముందుంటాడు).
Prasad: Yes, I know. He warms up to him because he is quite hard working, and does not waste time (అవును. నాకు తెలుసు. అతను చాలా కష్టపడి పనిచేస్తాడు, సమయం వృథా చేయడు. అందుకే ఆ టీచర్‌కు అతనంటే చాలా ఇష్టం).
2) Come to = Regain consciousness (స్పృహలోకి రావడం)
Vimala: You know our friend Jhansi suddenly lost consciousness in the class. I just did not know what to do. Then someone came and sprinkled cold water on her (మన స్నేహితురాలు ఝాన్సీ ఉన్నట్టుండి తరగతిలో స్పృహ కోల్పోయింది తెలుసా! ఏం చేయాలో నాకేం తోచలేదు. అప్పుడెవరో వచ్చి చల్లని నీటిని ఆమెపై చల్లారు).
Anushka: Did she come to? She must have. Cold water brings one to one's senses (అప్పుడు స్పృహలోకి వచ్చిందా? వచ్చే ఉండాలి మరి. చల్లని నీరు స్పృహలోకి తేవడంలో తోడ్పడతాయి).
